About the Role

Do you have over 12-18 months professional planning experience, but seeking greater exposure to major projects to accelerate your career progression? We are currently working closely with a highly revered planning consultancy that is eager to welcome a talented Graduate or Assistant Town Planner to their team.

 

Our client has an enviable roster of clients and a track record of delivering exceptional results across various sectors on flag ship projects across the capital, including residential, commercial, and retail. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they offer a stimulating work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting senior colleagues on a diverse range of projects.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support planning proposals.
  • Preparing planning applications and documents.
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and objectives.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • An Assistant Planner or Planner with a Masters in Urban Planning or a related field (ideally RTPI accredited) and having made a start on RTPI APC.
  • At least twelve months experience within a town planning role, up to 18 months experience, ideally.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eagerness to contribute to the success of projects and the team.
