About the Role
Cobalt is working with a vertically integrated developer and hotel operator delivering high-quality branded hotel schemes across London. With a growing pipeline of new-build and refurbishment projects, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and oversee the full cost management lifecycle of complex hospitality developments.

The Role/Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, you will play a leading role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple hotel developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost plans, budgets and forecasts across the project lifecycle.
- Managing procurement activities including tendering, BQ preparation and contractor selection.
- Administering contracts, variations, valuations and final accounts.
- Leading cost reporting, cashflow forecasting and risk analysis.
- Advising on value engineering options and cost-saving opportunities.
- Supporting claims, dispute resolution and compliance with contract terms.
- Working closely with delivery, design and legal teams to ensure commercial control.
Skills needed/requirements
- Working knowledge of cost management on new-build or refurbishment projects.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and risk management.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
- Experience in hotel, residential or mixed-use developments preferred.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
- MRICS, CIOB or similar chartered status is preferred.
