Senior Consultant, Residential Development & Town Planning

About the Role

An established consultancy in Lancashire is looking for their next hire at Senior to Associate Director Level.

The right person will love networking and have the ability to win business, however in the initial months will have work to pick up that is already in play. Their current work revolves around a variety of sectors such as energy, including battery storage and solar power, to Leisure projects such as Football Stadiums and Residential schemes with Private Housebuilders and Housing associations.

You will be supported thoroughly by the current team, and they will help to ensure every success in this venture.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of applications for a range of planning applications
  • Prepare and implement planning strategies to deliver projects and development proposals & delivering high quality advice, reports and presentations
  • Deliver evidence-based studies and site appraisals
  • Engage in networking events and support business development and growing the brand
  • Lead on projects across sectors

Requirements:

  • A degree or post graduate qualification in Town and Country Planning (RTPI accredited) with Chartered membership of RTPI.
  • A wealth of relevant experience working in consultancy, a local authority planning team, or similar.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering projects
  • Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proven experience of stakeholder Engagement.
