As a Senior, Principal or Associate Town Planner, you will be at the forefront of planning in Bristol. You will take on a pivotal role in shaping the city's future, working on exciting projects from concept to completion. This position offers excellent opportunities for career progression and the chance to collaborate on high-impact, city-defining initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to planning applications and appeals.
  • Engage with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Promote sites through Local Plans and provide strategic advice on major urban extensions.
  • Provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations.
  • Manage projects timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum four years of experience in town planning.
  • MRTPI qualification is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the residential planning landscape.
  • Proven track record of successful planning rack record.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about urban and rural planning.
