The Role
As a Utility Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering PAS128 surveys and high-accuracy underground utility mapping using advanced techniques such as EML and GPR. Working on a diverse range of projects-from infrastructure and highways to commercial and residential developments-you'll ensure safety, quality, and data integrity are at the heart of everything you do.
You'll also liaise directly with clients, contribute to project planning, and help maintain brand reputation as a leading name in utility detection and surveying services.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake underground utility detection using EML and GPR equipment
- Conduct PAS128-compliant surveys to a high technical standard
- Produce CAD drawings and detailed reports using industry-standard software
- Collaborate with survey teams and project managers to deliver client objectives
- Maintain equipment and adhere to all safety and quality procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders on-site and remotely
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in utility surveying, ideally with knowledge of PAS128 standards
- Proficiency in using GPR and EML equipment
- Strong understanding of CAD and survey data processing software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- CSCS card and relevant H&S training (preferred but not essential)
