Accountant - Pan-European

Cobalt are currently working with one of real estate's best known property investors/ developers, currently with assets all over Europe. This role works closely with the CFO, Financial Controller and business partners other teams within the organisation.

Although only on a 12 month contract, this is a great opportunity to get exposure to some of the biggest names within real estate and private equity, as well as continue to develop the finance function including system implementation.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Part of the group finance team responsible for delivering the quarterly and annual reporting timetable including the annual audited group accounts

• Preparing the quarterly group consolidations including IFRS adjustments from local GAAP, as well as taking ownership of the specific assets

• Quarterly and annual reporting to investors under IFRS

• Financial board reporting

• Consolidation of an annual budget and an annual reforecast

• Bank reporting, covenant reporting and treasury reporting

• Potential future acquisition accounting and on-boarding of new assets into the structure

• Working with external advisors to ensure tax efficient and risk mitigated movement of funds around the group

• Monitoring FX and interest rate risks and hedging instruments

Key experience required

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified

• Experience working within real estate, Private equity or investment management

• IFRS and group consolidation experience

• Experience using Yardi is advantageous but not essential
