Associate Town Planner

We are currently working exclusively with a busy nationally planning consultancy who have a number of offices across the South, who are keen to grow with a senior hire in their office in the Thames Valley area.

Their clients including private developers and landowners, as well as strategic land promoters and local authorities - working across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and retail. With a commitment to excellence and close client-relationships, they offer a flexible working environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Managing a pipeline of a diverse range of projects.

·Conducting research and analysis to support planning proposals.

·Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, and starting to do business development.

·Delegating and mentoring junior team members.

·Collaborating with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and objectives.

What we are looking for:

·Someone with local knowledge of the Thames Valley region.

·Town Planning experience in consultancy or local authority, with ideally six years at least in industry.

·Enthusiasm for urban planning and a strong desire to learn and grow.

·Excellent research and analytical skills.

·Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

·Eagerness to contribute to the success of projects and the team.
