Cobalt is exclusively supporting a fantastic Real Estate Investment firm in their search for an Interim Finance Director to lead their team at a very exciting time as they go through multiple transactions.

Our client is looking to hire an interim Finance Director on a maternity contract in an oversight capacity, leading the team and assisting with acquisitions and the onboarding of new assets.

Key responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting oversight
• Accounting for new transactions, dealing with SPA and NAV adjustments
• Due diligence on acquisitions
• Tax structuring and raising funds if they secure their bids
• Year-end accounting for funds, reviewing the quarterly investor reporting
• Managing a team of 5 in the UK & Lux
• Oversight of the corporate accounting team
• Managing 3rd party service providers

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
• Real Estate Fund Accounting experience
• Team leadership
• Understating of accounting for real assets and fund structures
• Yardi experience beneficial
