Fund Analyst

Our client, a private investment office offers investment management services to foundations, pension funds and family offices. They have a global reach with offices in London, the US, Asia and Europe but pride themselves on their entrepreneurial and collegiate culture.

They have recently launched a new Luxembourg based investment fund and are therefore building a team to service its requirements. They have not previously operated an in-house fund so this is an exciting time to join, in a role where the successful candidate can make it their own whilst working closely with other existing areas of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with private equity and hedge fund trade execution, wire processing, cash reconciliation and liquidity management for $12 billion+ AUM within the 70+ multi-asset class

  • Review and reconcile net asset value (NAV) reporting prepared by the third party fund

    administrators

  • Work with third party service providers (auditors, administrators, custodians) in the UK

  • Understand and implement operational requirements for managing Luxembourg based private funds

  • Act as a project manager for strategic and tactical operations projects to support the rapidly growing firm, with a focus on developing our Luxembourg based fund business

  • Support the client and research teams through review and analysis of performance reporting

    received from third-party administrators

  • Manage the teams communications and interactions with the global firm and third party providers. Act as the "information hub" of the organisation

  • Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual deliverables, including but not limited to capital calls and distributions, audits, and regulatory filings

Requirements:

  • Studying ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

  • Degree educated with a 2.1 or above

  • Experience working within fund accounting or audit, preferably with financial services clients or exposure to Luxembourg funds.

  • Be comfortable with data analysis and strong technical acumen, specifically with Excel

  • Team player who is comfortable working for an entrepreneurial company.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
