We are partnered with a highly successful townscape and heritage planning team based in Central London. They work alongside planners and other specialists, and work on some of London's most impressive schemes.

Key Responsibilities (increasing through seniority):

·Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and design teams regarding design development, ensuring alignment with existing townscape, historic context, conservation areas, and listed buildings.

·Collaborate with architects and visualization specialists to analyze site contexts, identify viewpoint locations, and offer insights on visual impact.

·Assist planning consultants and clients in preparing planning applications and listed building consent applications.

·Produce comprehensive reports for planning applications, including Environmental Statements (ES), townscape and visual impact assessment reports, built heritage reports, and other relevant documentation.

Ideally you will have:

·Proven experience in townscape and heritage consultancy (for Consultant or Senior) with expertise in advising on design development and planning applications.

·Strong project management skills, including budget management and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

·Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support the overall goals of the consultancy firm.

They operate on a hybrid working policy but would encourage more junior team members to head into the office to learn from their esteemed colleagues, as much as you can.

Please apply here or give me (Kate) a call to discuss. My client is looking to find the right candidate as soon as possible - so if in doubt, do get in touch. I also have other clients and roles that may be of interest.

If you do not hear anything back within one week, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, but I will retain your details for future roles.
