Cobalt is partnering with an industry leading consultancy in the built environment.

The business is looking for an individual who can be hands-on with their approach to the Management Accountant position, and the desire to go above and beyond to get the job done.

​

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the complete management accounts

• Prepare monthly journals for accruals and prepayments

• Maintain fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare monthly payment runs

• Update revenue forecasts

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

• Assist with the year-end audit

• Process intercompany transactions

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

About you

• Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

• Experience of key financial processes

• Advanced Excel skills such as Pivot Tables and vlookups

• Experience working in Real Estate or Property Management is desirable

• Experience using Sage 50 is desirable

• Detailed orientated as figures & analysis must be correct and concise

• Creative thinker - not afraid to offer a different perspective when tackling challenges
